There is quite a bit of “food exchange” between Korea and Japan.  Tonkatsu (Breaded Pork Cutlet) or donkkaseu (돈까스) is a good example of this.  Here is a recipe for a “Koreanized” version made with chicken.

Korean Spicy Chicken Wings

The other Kfc. This is another popular dish served in my former restaurant. A great alternative to the standard “Buffalo” wings for game days.

Ingredients
1 pound Sectioned chicken wings
1/3 cup potato or corn starch
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt

Spicy Chicken Stir Fry

I originally had this dish while stationed in Korea. It was served as a “drinking” dish in some of the Soju tents found on the streets of many Korean cities.  This became one of the more popular specials served at my former Korean Restaurant.
